Greetings!
My fellow Student Council members, I’m incredibly honored to announce that I am officially your 2025-2026 ASB President - with 73% of the vote. Thank you. Thank you for beliving in the vision, in the SOAR Initiative, and most importantly, in what we can accomplish together. I am grateful to have been given this role, and I promise to make the most out of it.
Now that the campaign and election part is over, the real work begins. I ran on a promise to revive, elevate, and unify - and I plan to deliver. We are going to:
Revive Student Council into a space where leaders feel supported, empowered, and excited to serve.
Elevate Our Events with creativity and student-centered planning, making sure that every KLA student sees themselves reflected in our school culture.
Involve More Student Voices by building consistent feedback systems and making sure your input actually drives change.
The SOAR Initiative will continue to guide us to:
Support Student Voices
Organize a Stronger Council
Amplify School Spirit
Revive Our Culture
I won't just wait for things to happen - I will lead from day one. Whether that means rethinking how we do spirit weeks, creating more inclusive activities, or making sure every member of our Student Council has a real voice - I'm here to serve.
I also want to make this clear: my inbox is always open. Whether you're a 3rd grader with an idea, a middle schooler who wants to get involved, or a high schooler wondering how you can shape your school - I want to hear from you. This presidency belongs to all of us, and is actively shaped by you.
My agenda is a really big and ambitious, and it cannot be possible without a team of hardworking leaders at the front. I am excited to work with these individuals and hope to make real impact with them. Please meet your 2025-2026 ASB Executive Board:
Ekampreet Singh: ASB President
Joanna Yonas: ASB Executive Vice President (VP)
Nebiyou Essa: VP Compliance (Secretary)
Eli McNeill: VP Finance (Treasurer)
