Greetings!
My fellow Student Council members, I’m proud to officially announce that I am running to be your next ASB President. Over the past year, I’ve been listening, learning, and leading - and I believe now is the time to bring our Student Council and our school to the next level.
I’ve seen the potential in our classrooms, events, and especially the Student Council. We have passionate, talented leaders across all grades, and I’m running because I want to bring us together like never before. My goal is to unite our council - not just to manage tasks, but to dream big and collaborate on projects that are creative, meaningful, and unforgettable. Together, we can build a Student Council that’s not only more active, but more inspiring - for the entire student body.
Leadership has always been more than a title for me - it’s about service, teamwork, and progress. Here are my past leadership skills, and what I bring to the table:
ASB Treasurer – Managed our ASB finances with transparency and care, ensuring every dollar was spent with purpose.
DECA VP of Marketing – Built awareness and brought a fresh energy to our chapter through participation of events and conferences using Social Media.
KSD High School Advisory Board Member – Represented KLA on a district-wide student leadership board, helping guide decisions that impact students across Kent.
I’ve also taken part in local and national programs that push personal growth and excellence:
Private Pilot Ground School – Building focus, discipline, and advanced problem-solving skills through aviation training.
Disney Dreamers Academy (Class of 2025) – Selected for a national leadership program empowering young leaders to dream big and act bold.
And beyond the classroom:
Athletics – I play basketball, volleyball, and tennis recreationally, not just for the competition, but because I believe in teamwork, spirit, and giving it your all.
STEM & Innovation – I code, build, and explore engineering projects. My love for problem-solving led to the creation of my own app, Spark, which helped me receive Congressional Recognition.
I’m running to lead a transformation. My plan focuses on three key areas:
Revive Student Council - Too many students in leadership feel confused or unmotivated. I’ll introduce better structure, clearer roles, and fun, creative meetings that make it easier to contribute - and more exciting to be involved.
Elevate Events - I want to plan events that reflect what our students actually want - from spirit days to events to middle school/high school dances that bring our community together.
Involve Student Voice - I want to get more students to share their experiences to improve how we do things. Through real feedback loops, students will know they’re being heard - and that their input shapes real outcomes.
My platform is built on the SOAR Initiative, a focused plan to bring more structure, energy, and heart to KLA:
S – Support Student Voices: From elementary to high school, every student matters. I’ll introduce consistent feedback loops to make sure everyone's ideas are captured - and turned into action.
O – Organize a Stronger Council: Leadership only works when people feel equipped and included. I’ll provide clearer guidelines, better role support, and regular creativity/community sessions to bring energy to our council.
A – Amplify School Spirit: We need spirit that resonates. We will partner with students and classes to launch student-led events and new traditions that bring out KLA pride across every grade. We should be happy and excited for events and activities.
R – Revive Our Culture: Let’s rebuild our identity. From hallway art to a better online presence - KLA should feel like a community where culture lives and students are proud they belong. We need to show that KLA is a community of creative hard workers and do-ers.
Because I’ve already been doing the work.
I’ve led at the school, district, and national level.
I’ve launched tools, served on advisory boards, and brought new ideas to life.
I’ve won awards - but more importantly, I’ve won trust.
Leadership is about more than being in charge. It’s about showing up and never forgetting who you’re serving. I believe in this school. I believe in the students. And I believe that together, we can make KLA SOAR.
